Experienced social workers can join us with a starting salary of up to £43,516 pa and the opportunity for performance related pay.

We offer a wide range of support to candidates who are willing to relocate to join our team. Up to £6,500 can be claimed back to help with the cost of all elements of moving house, including incidental disturbance costs such as getting your broadband or gas reconnected. We are proud to offer this package to anyone from outside the borough who lives more than 25 miles away from their new place of work.

25 days annual leave

We offer our workers 25 days of annual leave, along with bank holidays, to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones. Entitlement increases to 30 days after five years of dedicated service. We understand the importance of a work-life balance and offer you the flexibility to purchase up to 10 extra days of leave each year, giving you even more freedom to relax, explore, and pursue your passions.

Holistic work structure

Embrace a restorative practice approach as you embark on holistic assessments to identify the immediate and long-term needs of families. Collaborating closely with children, young people, and their families, we value their voices, truly listen, and prioritise their perspectives. We welcome your innovative thinking and provide opportunities to implement timely interventions, fostering positive transformations.

As average workloads for Social Workers continue to rise across the country, we are committed to providing manageable workloads for all of our Social Care teams. By adding additional resources and increased investment across our services and people, our valued frontline staff can give each child the attention they deserve.

Be part of a team that makes a real difference to young people's lives.
